Vama Veche, in full
Vama Veche is the last Romanian village on the coast, before Bulgaria. Its name comes from the customs office on the border between the Kingdom and Quadrilater, not from a holiday legend. Today it's village, beach and marine reserve - in that order.
Between 2 Mai and Vama Veche, shallow waters are protected. There is no place for jet skis and no fires on the sand. The rules are the booking, not the editorial.
The village was inhabited by Tatars, then by fishermen. Tourism came late and changed it. We write about place, not parties: the border, the lighthouse at the end of the country, the reserve and the history of customs.

Shallow waters, sea grass, protected species.
Between the two villages, the seabed is shallow and sensitive. No anchoring anyway, no fishing anyway. The objective sheet has the context, not an unverified snorkeling guide.
