Three things reach the gate: the greeting, the thanks, and the fact that you are leaving. The rest of the talk is not a guide’s job. The lines below are short. Do not sing them. Do not correct someone who says them differently.

Bunã dzua. Haristo. S-yinjtsã. Pot s-u bag tu pozã casa, di la drum? Nu, haristo, plec. The speech differs from family to family. If they answer in Romanian, stay in Romanian.

Selâm aleyküm. Sağ oluñız. Hoşça qalıñız. Evni yoldan fotoğrafqa alsam olırmı? Yoq, sağ oluñız, ketem.
