Constanța's municipal day is 21 May, the feast of Saints Constantine and Helena. The Local Council fixed it by HCL 116/2002. Around that date the city hall holds Constanța Days: usually three to five days of concerts, open museums, a parade of ethnic communities and activities in the neighbourhoods.
The schedule changes every year and the city hall publishes it, not us. Here we keep the calendar marker, the places where it usually happens and the editions we have checked.
When it is worth coming
- 21 mai Ziua oficială a municipiului, de Sfinții Constantin și Elena.
- În jur, 3–5 zile Zilele Constanței se țin de obicei imediat înainte sau după 21 mai. Intervalul exact iese pe anunțul primăriei.

Where it happens
Ovidiu Square
The main stage: evening concerts, parades, opening moments.
The Casino seafront
Brass bands, recitals, sometimes video mapping on the Casino façade.
Peninsula museums
History, art, folk art: usually free admission on festival days.
Neighbourhoods
Travelling shows, workshops for children, sport in the parks.

- Concerts in Ovidiu Square, in the evening
- Free museum admission on the announced days

- Workshops and theatre for children
- Sports activities by CSM Constanța
- Closing of the edition: fireworks or a drone show, when announced
On the ground
- The schedule usually comes out 1–2 weeks ahead. Check primaria-constanta.ro in the first half of May.
- The peninsula centre fills up in the evening. Leave the car outside the old town or come on the 100 / 100C / 101.
- Museums may ask for a booking at some events (in 2025 the Casino was by appointment).
- We do not publish concert times until they appear on the official notice.
