History
Between the Casino cliff and Modern Beach, the old boat shelter was remade after 2000 as a marina. Tomis Tourist Harbour holds yachts, a walking pontoon and terraces. By day you hear the halliards; in the evening it fills with people who have no boat but want to sit beside the masts.
You can hire a short trip on the water or simply walk around the basin. It is flat, good with children, with ice cream to hand. Morning has less noise and more places at a table.
Do not confuse it with the commercial harbour. Here you have no cargo cranes, you have a promenade. In winter it is empty and fine to photograph; in summer reserve a table if you want dinner on the pontoon.
