History
The Casino promenade was laid out at the beginning of the twentieth century, on the stone edge above the Black Sea. You walk between the casino building, the salt air and, on one side, the harbour. It is the route Constanța people give guests when they do not know where to start.
Wind is the rule, not the exception. In winter you have room; in July you slip among people photographing the façade. The benches toward the open sea are worth it even if you do not go into the building.
Link the cliff to the tourist harbour and Modern Beach in a single walk. Evening is the best hour, except on storm days, when the waves wet the pavement.
