Practical
Gluten-free, publicly announced
This is not medical advice. Only places that have written in black and white that they have gluten-free options. If it is not announced, it is not on the list. Allergies are discussed on the spot, with the kitchen.
How we read it
A symbol on the menu, a page, an announcement. Without those, it is not on the list. “Rice is probably fine” is not a card.
Fish and dough
Dobrogea is dough and fish. Dough is risky. Grilled fish, if the kitchen understands contamination, is a conversation, not a guarantee.
Vegetarian / fasting
They often overlap on the coast during the fasting season. They are not the same as gluten-free. Ask separately.
