History
Rahel, Marcu and Cabel Presente raised between 1924 and 1926 a residential building with an Art Nouveau façade: serial windows, vegetal decoration, a commercial ground floor. It is an early 20th-century block, not a villa; that is why it sits well on a walk through the old-house neighbourhood.
The ground floor has been altered by shopfronts and signs. The upper floors still hold the original rhythm, though the plaster is tired and no thorough rehabilitation has been done.
Looking up is worth more than the shop window. Five minutes, then the next street.
