History
Above Tomis Port, beside the “On Plonge” area, a Ferris wheel inflates in summer. It is not a monument; it is a seasonal installation, with closed cabins and a short turn above the seafront, the leisure harbour and, in good weather, as far as Mamaia.
The ticket is taken in the queue, the evening has less sun in the eyes, and the shore wind is felt up high. If height bothers you, stay below: the wheel photographs well from the breakwater too, as a horizon landmark.
Check whether it is mounted; between seasons it disappears. Do not build your weekend around it.
