History
At the crossing of Ștefan cel Mare and Griviței, at number 84, the inn from the first decade of the twentieth century holds two façades, ten wrought-iron balconies and a heavy arched gate. The style is of a Balkan inn, with stucco close to rococo, on a quadrilateral plan. It is a Category B monument (CT-II-m-B-02843).
After 1990 the building passed through leases, closures and talks with the Town Hall. From the pavement you still see the entrance and the rhythm of the windows; the interior is not a museum open at a fixed hour. It is worth five minutes of a turn through the old centre, between the square and the historic peninsula, to see how Constanța's merchant hotels looked before the blocks.
