Slava Rusă is a Lipovan village. Beside it stand the ruins of Ibida, a sprawling late Roman fort, still little visited.
Village and citadel are read together: one is alive, the other is wall. Respect Old Ritual life in the village. On the site, do not lift stones.
The road crosses plateau country. Autumn is good, summer is dry.
