Celic-Dere (“steel stream”) is a nuns’ monastery in the hills between Tulcea and Măcin, in Frecăței commune.
Visit with covered clothing, quietly, in the hours the monastery posts. If we have no verified schedule, the field stays empty.
The access road may be unpaved. After rain, ask before you drive up.
