History
In Tăbăcărie Park, the open-air stage was opened in 1983 as the Fantasio Summer Theatre: almost 1,600 seats, chairs toward a ramp designed for concerts and seasonal shows. It held whole summer evenings, then deteriorated and was closed for a time, until Constanța County Council and the National Investment Company resumed rehabilitation works, in waves, after 2019.
If you are planning an outing, check the SEAS programme - Constanța State Theatre, Performing Arts: they hold the summer season here, not a museum. After 2022–2024 the place gradually returned to the circuit; for 2025 a look at the poster is worth it before you count on a fixed hour.
You get there on foot or by car in the park area, north of the old centre. Bring a jacket: in the evening, on the concrete seat, a wind comes off Tăbăcărie even in July.
