History
The building on the city’s interwar map was, for a time, the Pioneers’ House, then, after 1990, the Children’s Palace. The walls still hold the air of a neighbourhood institution, not a block of flats; inside are workshops for painting, robotics, music and whatever the season enrols.
For an adult without a child, the façade and the courtyard are enough. For a family, the club programme is the real reason to go in, not the architecture.
Check enrolments at the start of the school year. In the holidays, some rooms are closed, others hold short camps.
