History
In 2008, beside Tăbăcărie Park, toward Mamaia, a large skatepark opened, with ramps, bowls and rails for skate, BMX, rollers and scooters. Gravity Park is of concrete and pipe, not of grass.
In the afternoon it fills with young people; in the morning you catch a place to try without a queue. The atmosphere is of a sports ground, with music from a phone and pauses on the kerb. Helmet and knee pads are not a fuss if you are a beginner.
You come on foot from the park or by the Mamaia bus. It is not a family picnic spot on the ramps. If you have small children, stay on the edge and let them watch first.
