History
Right beside Constanța Station, after modernization, is a square of new alleys, benches and lights, thought for anyone stepping off the train with a suitcase. Before, it was a worn space, cut by shortcuts; now you can wait for a bus without sitting on the kerb.
It is not a Sunday park with a lake. It is a 10–15 minute pause: shade, a bench, orientation toward the centre. In the evening the lighting helps; by day it is transit, not a promenade.
If you have a long connection, it is better than the platform. If you have time, from here you start on foot toward the peninsula, not toward Mamaia.
