Constanța Dolphinarium
History
In 1972 Constanța opened the first dolphinarium in south-eastern Europe. It is part of the Natural Sciences Museum Complex, together with the Aquarium, the Planetarium and the Mini-Reserve. The indoor pool holds dolphin shows, by the hour, with numbered seats.
In summer the queues are long. Book online if you can. The show lasts about 30–40 minutes; outside it is sunny, bring a hat.
Next door, the mini-reserve is quieter and you can walk without a clock. Do not plan the whole day around one show.
