EuroVelo 6 and Via Pontica
EuroVelo 6 follows the Danube. Via Pontica is a bird corridor, not necessarily a cycle path. Official links, not copied GPX files. Constanța has local stretches — we do not invent them into a complete network from Vama to Sulina.
EuroVelo 6
The Danube bank: Cernavodă, Hârșova, Tulcea. eurovelo.com is the route source, not a forum GPX. Bridges and ferries are checked officially.
Via Pontica
Migration, autumn and spring. The birdwatching guide. It is not a path with blue paint along the whole shore.
Local paths
The seafront, Mamaia, a few city stretches. Off-season they are better (emptier). In summer the pace is promenade, not race bike.
Delta
It is not a cycling network. Sand, boat, ARBDD rules. A bicycle in the village, yes; an 80 km route through a strictly protected zone, no.
Wind
The east wind is a wall. A return plan on the Mangalia train is more honest than heroics against the wind.
