Itineraries
2 days in the Delta, based in Tulcea
Sleep in Tulcea. Day 1: the town plus a short run. Day 2: Mahmudia / Murighiol or, if you catch a boat, Crișan there and back. No night on a boat if you do not want one. The timetable is the operator's. In autumn it thins out.
Day 1
Walk Tulcea, the port, Aegyssus if you care about the fortress, a science museum. Ask about the next day's boats before dinner, not at 9 in the morning on the quay.
Day 2, on shore
Mahmudia, Halmyris, a lakeshore road. Water and a site, without forcing Letea into one afternoon.
Day 2, on the water
Only with a confirmed ticket. Crișan or a short loop beats a dash to Mila 23 and a missed return. Life jacket, cash, a jacket, ARBDD.
What we do not do
We do not invent departures. We do not promise pelicans on the hour. We do not send a family out on a lotca without a life jacket.
Winter
Many guesthouses close. Book Tulcea. The Delta stays a clear-window idea, not a package.
