History
Sir Richard Wallace paid, in the 19th century, for a series of public fountains for Paris; the sculptor Charles-Auguste Lebourg gave them the form with the four caryatids. The model was copied across Europe. In Constanța, the replica stands as street furniture: you drink (if it still runs) and you recognize the Parisian silhouette.
The central element is the small dome and the figures that hold it. It is not a monumental square fountain; it is a water point with a claim to design.
Stop, compare with photographs from Paris if you want that game, then move on. It is on a pedestrian route, not in a particular ticketed park.
