History
The poet Panait Cerna was born in the village of the same name, between Tulcea and Măcin. In 1966 his brother gave the locality the parental house - a craftsman's dwelling from the end of the 19th century. It became a memorial museum: desk, glasses, editions, family photographs.
It is a small house. 30 minutes are enough. The atmosphere is of a village, not of an institution.
Hours are often 9–17, with a break; the fee is small. Call the town hall if you go on a quiet weekday.
