History
Beidaud is a plateau village, in the north of Tulcea. The church in the centre bears the dedication of the Translation of the Relics of Saint Nicholas and was raised at the beginning of the twentieth century, of thick wall, with a commune belfry.
Services have been kept without long gaps. On feast days the courtyard fills; otherwise you can pass by the wall if you are on the road toward the reserve or toward the spring. It is the landmark by which people in the village orient themselves.
