Official rest stops and campsites only. No wild spots, no dunes, no sandbars, no 'overnight parking by the lighthouse'. ARBDD and the town halls decide. Off-season, many coastal campsites close — phone the number on their site.

Listed campsites, rest stops on DN22 / A2, truck parks on an official map. We do not mark a vanlifer pin as infrastructure.
Delta
No wild camping. Ask ARBDD. A night in Tulcea is the grown-up plan.
Coast
Campsites have a season. After closing, it is not 'even freer'. It is closed.
Măcin and the steppe
The national park is not a campsite. The village of Greci or an official rest stop, then the trail on foot.
Waste and water
Do not empty tanks on the shore. Do not use an archaeological site as a toilet. Histria and Tropaeum are not aires.
