Protected areas
Dobrogea is a mosaic of areas: the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, the Măcin Mountains National Park, steppe reserves, gravels, the marine strip 2 Mai–Vama Veche. The official rules are given by the administrator. This is a field summary, not a copied rulebook.
The Delta - ARBDD
The permit, the marked trails, the ban on fire and the collection of protected species. Strict regime areas are not "Instagram scenery". Authorized guide where required. Pass money does not buy the right to get off where you want.
Macin
National Park: Markings, no ATVs on trail, no tenting outside permitted sites, no picking flora. Țuțuiatu and Culmea Pricopanului are day trails, not expeditions, but the wind and sun are punishing. In spring, the peony can be seen from the path.
Steppe and Keys
Dobrogei Gorges, Canaraua Fetii, the beams and strips of steppe hold species that cannot withstand a 40-car shift. Go on the public road and on the marker. We do not publish "locals" sidepaths.
Great
The 2 Mai–Vama Veche marine reserve has rules for anchoring, fishing and landing. It's not a free beach in the sense of "everything is allowed". Check admin announcements before a summer weekend.
What do you get from them?
A short list: permit if requested, trash bag, water, respect for animals, no fire, no drones over colonies. The rest is curiosity, not conquest.
