Photographer's guide
Golden hour on the seafront, Histria in the morning, Enisala at sunset, the Delta from an official pontoon. Public points, no fragile locations. A good photograph is not worth an abandoned nest or a drone fine.
Light
Morning on the steppe sites: long shadows, cleaner air, less heat. Sunset on the seafront and at Enisala. A July noon is harsh - the stones go white, faces tighten, you are left with a flat frame.
Public points
The Casino and Tomis Harbour, the Sulina lighthouse, the Tulcea promenade, Tropaeum from ground level, Pricopan Ridge on the marked path. We do not go into yards, onto building sites, onto block roofs "for the angle".
People and places of worship
Ask first. In mosques, Old Believer churches and cemeteries, the rules belong to the place. No pictures of recent graves. The short protocol covers greeting and tipping; here it stays: ask.
Drones
Forbidden at colonies, the commercial port, military zones, and often over protected areas without a permit. The official map beats "I saw it on YouTube". The permits guide has the thread.
The Delta
From the boat, from the pontoon, from an allowed path. No dropping into the reeds to "get the pelican". A telephoto. Waterproof covers. Follow the guide.
What we do not publish
Nest coordinates, paths to colonies, wild-camping spots "with good light". If you ask for a pin of that kind, we do not give it.
