Folklore festivals
Only checked events: source, typical month, last edition. If the current year is not announced, we write “usually in [month]”. No invented date. The public list is at Events, after admin approval.
How we read a listing
Source, locality, month. If the year is missing, it is not a date for the phone calendar. The events page is where it appears, not this guide.
What is typical, without lying
Village feast days, harbour days, a film festival at Sfântu Gheorghe when it is announced, summer folklore on the coast. “Typical” is not “this year, Saturday”.
Off-season
After 15 September, the summer posters come down. We do not recycle them as if they were eternal.
Schools and classes
A folklore event is not automatically a lesson. The teacher checks the edition. The autumn pack is more predictable than a festival.
Flag it
If an edition is announced officially and we do not have it, write. We approve. We do not copy a poster off a pole.
