The Danube splits into the Delta in three main branches. They are not all ditches dug the same way.
Chilia
The northernmost, toward the border with Ukraine. Villages, not promenade.
Sulina
The navigable branch, with miles and a town at the end.
Sfântu Gheorghe
The southern one, past Mahmudia and Murighiol, to the village of the same name.
