Adamclisi is the village beside Tropaeum Traiani, Trajan's monument after the Dacian wars. Monument, museum, and citadel fit into a 2–3 hour stop.
Autumn is good: steppe, light, no August heat. Bring water. Museum hours belong to MINAC — on the page only if verified.
The village has a Turkish name (adam kilise, "man's church"). It is not just parking for the monument.
