By boat, 3 days, through nature and landscapes of the Danube Delta, about 170 km: from Sfântu Gheorghe to Halmyris Fortress, 16 stops. Southern branch. Calm water, ideal for kayaking. The fortress where Epictetus and Astion were martyred (the year 290); their relics, discovered in the crypt in 2001.
How to do the route
Plan 3 days with overnight stays along the route. Combine boat travel with breaks at sites open to the public. Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (ARBDD): follow the local rules and the instructions of the authorities or licensed guides.

- Uzlina - Guided tour with binoculars, without disturbing the birds.
- Cetatea Halmyris - Fortress where Epictet and Astion were martyred (AD 290); their relics, discovered in the crypt in 2001.
