Mixed, 3 days, through nature and landscapes of the Danube Delta, about 195 km: from Tulcea Port to Maliuc, 16 stops. Day 1: the waterfront and the museum. Guided tour with binoculars, without disturbing the birds. Day 2: boat to Sulina.
How to do the route
Plan 3 days with overnight stays along the route. Combine mixed travel with breaks at sites open to the public. Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (ARBDD): follow the local rules and the instructions of the authorities or licensed guides.

- Portul Tulcea - Day 1: cliff walk and museum.
- Monumentul Independenței - Mircea the Elder on the cliff walk.
- Zone de observare pelicani - Observation from a distance, with binoculars, without disturbing the nests.
- Mahmudia - Fishing village on the Danube bank, gateway to wetlands and birds.
- Murighiol - Fishing village, gateway to St George.
- Cetatea Halmyris - First martyrs of Romanian Christianity.
- Dunavățu de Jos - Day 3: end of the road on the St George branch.
- Uzlina - Guided tour with binoculars, without disturbing the birds.
- Canal spre Letea - Quiet crossing by water, with a guide — no noise or litter left on the bank.
- Caraorman - Dune forest.
- Pădurea Caraorman - Ancient oaks on the mound, beside Red Lake. Strictly protected area — stay on the guide's route.
- Canal Caraorman - Access by authorized guide only.
- Crișan - Channel crossroads.
- Sulina - Museum in the 1870 lighthouse.
- Plaja Sulina - The Danube pours into the sea.
- Maliuc - Day 2: steamer to Sulina.
