Autumn is a good season for site and city. Not for the beach. Print the walk and the glossary. The seasonal quiz, when it is on, is homework for the bus. The bathing off-season starts after 15 September.
City
Walk Ovidiu or Tulcea. The print button on the page. A class on the peninsula beats a class on an empty October beach.
Site
Adamclisi 2 hours. Tropaeum 20 min if time is short. Histria is another outing, in the morning, with water.
Quiz
Seasonal quiz, when it is on. Not on the site, in the sun. On the bus, in the evening, or the next day.
Clothes
A wind layer, closed shoes, a raincoat. Dobrogean autumn lies: sun, then a knife from the north.

Unverified hours, a second fortress “if we manage,” a swim invitation, drones.
