History
At Beștepe, under the hills with a view toward the Delta lakes and toward Halmyris, Buni Violeta puts on the table homemade Dobrogea food: soup, pie, meat, pickles, jam. The table is spread in the courtyard when the weather holds, with wind from the marsh.
It is a good stop between Tulcea and Murighiol. You do not need to enter the Delta to eat here; you do need to call, to say the hour and the number of people.
After the meal, climb the hill for the panorama or go down to the fortress. Two places and a plate, in an afternoon, without hurrying.
