Greeks
From the poleis to the modern harbour community. Churches in Constanța and along the coast, names on plaques, a cemetery, a language still heard in the family. Callatis and Histria have been Greek for two millennia in another way — site, not parish.
Armenians
Churches and merchant families, more visible in the shore towns. An open door is asked, not pushed. The feast day belongs to the community.
Sulina
The town at the river mouth was a catalogue of nations. The cemetery is the index. Walk slowly.
