Garvăn, in full
Garvăn is a village on the Danube bank, in the north of Tulcea county. Beside it stands Dinogetia, a late Roman and Byzantine fort on a river islet.
The site is visited only where it is open and marked. Do not lift stones. If the schedule is not on the listing, we do not invent it.
The bank is steep in places. Do not climb down wet loess.
