On foot, 2-3 hours, through the Danube corridor, about 1 km: from the Independence Monument to Tulcea Port, 3 stops. The statue of Mircea the Elder and a panorama toward the Danube. Collections from Aegyssus, the Geto-Dacian fortress on the hill. The gate to the Delta: ships, lotcas and the memory of Danube trade.
How to do the route
Allow 2-3 hours on foot. Set out early in the morning or in the afternoon, when it is cooler. Archaeological sites and museums: keep to visiting hours, do not damage the structures and do not pick objects up from the ground.
