How to do the route
Allow a full day by boat through the Danube Delta. Check museum hours and bookings in season. Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (ARBDD): follow the local rules and the instructions of the authorities or of authorised guides.

- Portul Tulcea - Embark on classic or fast vessels to Sulina.
- Maliuc - A stop in the heart of the reedbeds; pelicans are never far away.
- Crișan - Fishing village at Mile 13, crossroads of channels to Mile 23 and Caraorman.
- Sulina - Lighthouse of the European Commission of the Danube (1870), now a museum, 2 km from the receding sea.
