How to do the route
Plan 3 days with overnight stays along the route. Combine boat travel with breaks at sites open to the public. Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (ARBDD): follow the local rules and the instructions of the authorities or licensed guides.

- Parcul eolian Fântânele - Turbines on the hill.
- Lacul Tașaul - Steppe lake.
- Gura Portiței - Sand and water.
- Dunavățu de Jos - End of the road.
- Cetatea Halmyris - The citadel where Epictet and Astion were martyred (AD 290); their relics, discovered in the crypt in 2001.
- Murighiol - Southern Delta.
- Uzlina - Guided tour with binoculars, without disturbing the birds.
- Canal spre Letea - Quiet crossing by water, with a guide — no noise or litter left on the bank.
- Caraorman - Dune forest.
- Pădurea Caraorman - Ancient oaks on the mound, beside Red Lake. Strictly protected area — stay on the guide's route.

- Maliuc - A stop in the heart of the reedbeds; pelicans are never far away.
