By car, 2 days, on the heritage trail of the Danube corridor, about 257 km: from the Saligny Bridge to the Danube Promenade, 12 stops. Day 1: the longest bridge in Europe at its inauguration. The monument of the 1877 battle. Evening arrival at the gateway to the Delta.
How to do the route
Plan 2 days with overnight stays along the route. Combine driving with breaks at sites open to the public. Places of worship and pilgrimage: modest clothing, silence during services, respect for the customs of the local community (Muslim, Orthodox, or Lipovan).
