By bicycle, half a day, with an accent on active exploration in the Danube Delta, about 32 km: from Tulcea to Mahmudia, 3 stops. Departure from the gate of the Delta. A village on the Danube bank, with lotcas at the gate. A fishing village on the Danube bank, a gate toward wetlands and birds.
How to do the route
Allow half a day by bicycle. Set out early in the morning or in the afternoon, when it is cooler. Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (ARBDD): follow the local rules and the instructions of the authorities or of authorised guides.

- Tulcea - Departure from the Delta gateway.
- Băltenii de Jos - Village on the Danube bank, with lotca boats at the gate.
