Reflection on the canal and on the sea
Water sits differently on the canal and on the sea. On the canal the mirror is often still, between straight banks. On the sea, October light is low and the wind breaks the reflection. In both places you stay on the public bank.
Canal
The Medgidia promenade, the public zone at Poarta Albă, the bank at Agigea, from a distance. Do not walk onto the lock crown. Do not lean over a wet rail: ice on the rail, in winter.
Sea
The peninsula promenade, the walk at Eforie or Mangalia, off season. Do not climb down onto the tetrapods to catch the reflection in a wave: tetrapods. It is not a sunbed beach.
Light
In October, at 15:00, the sun is already low. In December, sunset is at 16:30: dark by 17:00. Do not stand on a wet step for the shot.
