Free-entry days
We do not publish free days until we have an official notice from a museum or the ministry. Museum Night, heritage days, free Sundays — they have a communiqué or they do not exist on this site. Check the place listing.
Why we are strict
A class or a train is built on a real hour. “It is always free the first Sunday” is often a memory, not a rule.
Where it appears
On the place listing, with source and date, if an editor has checked. Otherwise, the museum site.
Open-air sites
Some can be seen from the public road without a ticket. That is not a “free day” — it is geography. Tropaeum from outside is one example; the museum beside it is another.

Do not base a trip on this guide. Call. Ask for email. Keep the reply.
