No drones: forbidden zones
A leisure drone flight is not free just because the beach is empty. The restrictions are published by the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority and, in the Delta, by ARBDD. We do not dodge them with “only five minutes”.
Where it is clearly no
Mihail Kogălniceanu airport. Constanța port and the port zones at Midia and Mangalia. The border strip, towards Bulgaria and towards Ukraine. A large part of the Danube Delta, as a reserve. The Cernavodă plant. We do not publish the radius in metres: the figure belongs to the authority, and it changes.
Where you read the rule
On aac.ro, under unmanned aircraft flights, and on the ARBDD notice for the Delta. If a site or a museum forbids drones on its card, the card decides. What you leave at home in winter puts the drone next to flip-flops, for the same reason.
What we do not do
We do not draw a “green-red” map. An incomplete map is more dangerous than a short sentence. If you have doubts, the drone stays in the bag.
